American Singer Songwriter Josh Gilbert has musical elements founded in folk music, indie/alternative, pop/rock, southern rock and even a bit of gospel, this unique blend of sound is what makes them so popular with listeners! For the last several years, Josh has been performing both in and outside the USA as a both a solo artist and with a full band. Josh’s band primarily consists of long-time multi-musician band-mate and brother Matt Gilbert; as well as guitarist Casey Bryant, Sarah Bryant, and drummer Ben Phillips, – all considered ‘family’ members!
Although Josh Gilbert grew up singing classical music in choirs, his modern voice and songwriting has a sound in the vein of such as NeedToBreathe, Switchfoot, Ray Lamontagne and Ben Harper — with drawing influence from classics such as U2, Stevie Wonder, Sting & Paul Rogers. With a passionate and soulful voice, Josh Gilbert’s music features a dynamic vocal range, creative and catchy hooks, tight rhythms and picturesque lyrics.
Josh Gilbert feels led to share his passionate and original music with a wide array of audiences, for all stages, venues & settings that will allow him to share his messages about life, love, & spirituality.
